The first two heroes had fallen. Their sacrifice forever etched in our hearts. Today, their memory is honored by 57 gold star flags representing our state’s fallen warriors.
As time went on, we gratefully bid farewell to our final lost hero from Nevada. Yet a new challenge arose – to take care of veterans and their families.

Standing by Their Side
Thanks to the support Tim received, he now has a specially adapted home, a sanctuary where he can thrive. Along with Tim, NMSA supported five other veterans who have received their own keys to a brighter future, as their homes provide comfort and independence. With a generous contribution totaling $4.1 million from NMSA, The Fisher House was built and Veterans Guest House was expanded.
Together, we honor the fallen, empower the wounded, and create a brighter future for those who have served.
The Nevada military Support Alliance is committed to standing strong by their side.
The foundation of Nevada Military Support Alliance dates back to 2003. In 2010 the mission of the NMSA was expanded to not only support military families of fallen service members, but to assist those returning home from the battlefield with catastrophic injuries.
