Battle BOrn
Nevada
From the ashes of destruction emerged a spirit, unyielding. United we stood, where we knew that our people were the backbone of our nation, the embodiment of courage and resilience. Nevada, a state known for its natural beauty, vibrant culture and rich history, has also been the birthplace and home of countless heroes who have dedicated their lives to serving their country.

“I was in the Pentagon on 9-11, so I watched the entire war on terrorism evolve and develop. There were people here that were normal people that all of a sudden were being deployed, and they were not coming home.”
Major General (Ret) Ronald J. Bath
NMSA Co-Founder, NMSA Vice Chairman Emeritus

Next Steps
In response, the Nevada Patriot Fund was founded with the aim of supporting families affected by military service. Over the next seven years, this fund proved crucial for many families in need, as the state lost a total of 57 warriors in service to their country.
In 2010
Thanks to community support and hard work from dedicated individuals, the NMSA merged with the Patriot Fund to create a powerful organization that could truly make a difference in people’s lives. Through the grueling crucible of war, they fought with unwavering determination. Side by side, they marched forward, guided by a shared purpose. A beacon of hope among the darkness.
It all comes back to people. And those people are Nevadans.
The foundation of Nevada Military Support Alliance dates back to 2003. In 2010 the mission of the NMSA was expanded to not only support military families of fallen service members, but to assist those returning home from the battlefield with catastrophic injuries.
